A Memorandum of Understanding, or MOU, is the contract negotiated every three years between AFSCME Council 3 and representatives of the USM and affiliated campuses and ratified by a majority vote of bargaining unit employees. You can access our current MOU here.

About Professional Development Days (PDDs)
Each bargaining unit employee shall be granted one (1) Professional Development Day (PDD) each calendar year. Learn more about requesting PDDs here.
